PanIIT Meeting on May 20, 2005
After a long time, thanks to the help of Pradeep Phule of the University of
Pittsburgh, we are planning another get together in the Kresge Room, 1175 Benedum
Hall, at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 20.
When we met the last time, a number of people suggested meeting on a Friday
as many folks have standing commitments for Saturday evenings. So we
will give this a try.
Although I will be sending this to the people from other IIT’s in the
area whose contact information I have, please feel free to mention it to
any of your friends from other IIT’s.
The format is going to be the same, snacks, soft drinks and conversation. T=
here will be a nominal charge of five dollars a head collected at the door
t=
o cover expenses. Spouses are welcome and will add a patina of class to the
affair.
Please RSVP to me at skapadia [at] iitbombay.org so that we can have an idea of the number of people attending and also so that we can provide a contact list to the attendees. Your phone number will be appreciated and included in th=
e contact list if you wish.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, May 20.
Warm regards to all of you and, again, thanks to Pradeep Phule.

Folks:
After many what-if's, it seems that we are going to get together on Saturday
November 8 at the Kessge auditorium - 1175 Benedum Engineering Hall at the
University of Pittsburgh, courtesy of our elegant and influential Pradeep
Phule.
Despite numerous well meaning suggestions about an entertainment program
and covered dishes, we will be aiming for a social gathering with some
simple snacks (optional covered dishes which do not require any heating) and
soda.
Suhas Vaze has made arrangements with the caterer and the items will be alu-chat,
pakoras and ras-malai. Please indicate in your RSVP if you are bringing a
covered dish or that you will pay $5 per head at the door so that we can
order the right quantity.
A Happy Holiday Season to those celebrating Diwali which falls on the 27th.
of October this year.
Volunteers are always welcome and anyone interested should RSVP to me : pittsburgh [at] iitbombay.org
If you know of alums from other IIT's, they are welcome too. If you know
people from IIT-B who did not get this - ask them to log on to
www.iitbombay.org and register in the directory so that they may get future
mailings.
Regards
